Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 30, 2026

PhonicsLogic ("PhonicsLogic", "we", "us") provides an early-reading program for families. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices parents have. PhonicsLogic is designed for use under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian (collectively, "Parent"). We do not knowingly create accounts for children directly, and we take the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act ("COPPA") seriously.

1. Who the account belongs to

Accounts on PhonicsLogic are created by Parents. The Parent is the account holder and is responsible for any child learner profiles they add. Children do not sign in, do not have email accounts, and cannot message other users on PhonicsLogic.

2. Information we collect

From Parents

From or about a child learner

We do not knowingly collect a child's email, phone number, precise location, photograph, contacts, or persistent identifiers for behavioral advertising.

3. How we use information

We do not sell personal information. We do not use child learner data to target advertising.

4. Voice and audio

Lessons use text-to-speech to read letters, sounds, and words aloud. Audio is generated from our prepared lesson text by a TTS provider; we do not record or transmit a child's voice from the device.

5. Service providers

We share the minimum information necessary with vetted providers that help us run PhonicsLogic, including hosting and database infrastructure, authentication, email delivery, payment processing (Whop), and text-to-speech generation. These providers are contractually restricted to using the data only to provide their service to us.

6. Parental rights and choices

Parents may, at any time, review, edit, or delete a child learner profile from the dashboard. To delete the entire Parent account and all associated child profiles and progress, contact us at the email below and we will action the request within 30 days. We will not require a child to disclose more information than is reasonably necessary to use the service.

7. Data retention

We retain account and progress data for as long as the account is active. After deletion, we remove personal data from production systems and purge backups on our normal rotation. We may keep limited records required for tax, fraud, or legal compliance.

8. Security

We use TLS in transit, encrypted storage at rest, row-level authorization, and least-privilege access controls. No system is perfectly secure; we encourage Parents to use a strong password and to contact us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

9. Children outside the United States

PhonicsLogic is operated from the United States. If you use the service from another country, you consent to the transfer and processing of information in the U.S. under this Policy.

10. Changes

We will post any updates to this Policy on this page and adjust the "Last updated" date. Material changes affecting children's data will be communicated to Parents by email before they take effect.
